WHO WE ARE

Simone Ey is an accredited Mediator and Coaching Psychology Practitioner who works with individuals, teams and organisations across Australia and internationally. Simone brings together advanced psychological behavioural science and extensive experience to help people navigate complexity, strengthen relationships, resolve conflict and achieve meaningful change.

Working with individuals and private clients, Simone provides personalised coaching psychology services, family and personal mediation, and conflict dispute resolution. Simone helps individuals understand entrenched behavioural patterns, navigate difficult relationships, manage conflict and develop more constructive ways of moving forward. Her approach is informed by advanced study and research in family systems dynamics, interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, adult development and the psychological patterns that influence how people think, behave and relate to others.

 

Working with organisations, Simone partners with executives and leadership teams to strengthen leadership capability, build high-performing teams and navigate organisational complexity. Her work encompasses executive and leadership coaching, facilitation, leadership development, organisational change, workforce strategy, conflict resolution, human resources and organisational development consulting.

She is also an accredited mediator providing commercial dispute resolution services, including through the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO).

Research and professional interests, Simone's research and professional interests centre on the intersection of coaching psychology, relational systems and organisational performance. Her postgraduate research and continuing scholarly work explore family systems theory, emotional contagion, anxiety in leadership and organisational systems, emotional regulation, interpersonal dynamics and the ways behaviours and relationships influence individual and collective functioning. Of particular interest is how anxiety and emotional responses move through families, teams and organisations, shaping communication, decision-making, conflict, leadership behaviour and organisational culture.  

 

Simone also researches psychological safety, psychosocial risks, burnout and the behavioural barriers that prevent individuals, teams and organisations from adapting and thriving. Her work reflects a strong interest in translating sophisticated psychological theory into accessible, practical approaches that people can apply in everyday relationships, leadership and organisational life.
